Hope comes to Hope Haven with a wealth of experience in the social work field. Her past experience includes working in New York, Detroit, Arizona and Oregon. Hope has traveled in Central and South America and taught English in Africa and China. She is a Princeton graduate and earned a Master's degree in Social Work from Wayne University in Detroit, Michigan. Hope has practiced individual, family and group therapy in a State mental health facility in Texas. She says she would like to encourage and support the clients who come to Hope Haven as they clear their minds from traumatic experiences of sexual abuse. "A cognitive behavioral approach with a healthy dose of humor is what I have found most effective in dealing with the challenges and puzzles that life presents."
