Mary Beth Hefner completed her undergraduate work at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. She graduated with a dual degree in Special Education and Elementary Education and taught in elementary schools, including classrooms for special-needs children. Mary Beth earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta in 2005. She was Director of Social Services for Life Care Center, which is a skilled rehabilitative nursing center in Hilton Head.
She joined Hope Haven in July of 2007, and is excited to be working as a member of the Forensic Interviewing Team. Mary Beth is enthusiastic about helping children find their "voice," and strongly promotes both safety and awareness education.
