Shirley Golden,
Site Evaluator

Shirley A. Golden joins Hope Haven as the Site Evaluator for “Project Best” which is a new project designed to bring Empirically Supported Treatment to South Carolina’s Children and Families.  She is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a Master of Social Work Degree and also has an undergraduate degree in social work from Limestone College, Gaffney, South Carolina. She has completed internships at the Child Advocacy Center in Aiken, SC, a Therapeutic Child Care Facility and Youth Development/Youth Challenge Programs. Shirley’s primary interest has always been children but is committed to enhancing the well-being of all people. She continuously seek to educate herself about issues affecting individuals and families and feels that Hope Haven will provide her the opportunity to both share her experiences in working with children and families and also to learn from the diverse population of people who are affiliated with Hope Haven.
