Mikka Ward Dutton is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of South Carolina.  She graduated with honors from Western Carolina University in North Carolina with a Masters of Science in Community Counseling.  She was a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society.  Her background for the past 15 years has including working with developmentally disabled and special needs clients.  Upon moving to South Carolina, Mikka has been in private practice with Life Skills Counseling on Lady’s Island.  In her private practice she counseled children, adolescents and adults in individual and group settings.  Mikka has now transitioned into becoming part of the Hope Haven team as the Program Manager.  At Hope Haven, she can supervise Licensed Professional Counseling Interns to obtain their supervision hours for licensure.  Mrs. Mikka Ward Dutten is excited about joining Hope Haven to become a better asset to the Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, Jasper and Allendale communities in southeastern South Carolina.
