About us
Hope Haven is a non-profit organization responding to the needs of child victims of abuse and adult victims of rape, sexual assault and incest. The organization serves the South Carolina counties of Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, Jasper and Allendale.
Hope Haven is accredited by the National Childrens Alliance and is committed to providing the highest quality of care and support for its clients and their families. Close relationships are maintained with local hospitals and medical clinics who provide assistance with forensic medical evaluations. Hope Haven also works closely with local law enforcement agencies, county solicitor’s offices and the SC Department of Social Services to ensure swift and thorough investigation and prosecution of child abuse and neglect.
Hope Haven is outcomes-oriented, which means that we closely monitor and review case progress and outcomes in order to continually improve our services. We believe that such self-reflection is essential to our carrying out our mission in this community.
